Two urban districts (Stratum & Gestel) in the south of Eindhoven are separated by a green area that reaches far into the city centre. This area, Genneper Parken, is originally an agricultural stream valley landscape, formed by the Dommel and Tongelreep stream. We will take a stroll through this beautiful piece of urban nature and watch and enjoy the beautiful landscape.
During this nature walk, cultural-historical facts will be shared as well, along with ecological management of the farmlands by the Genneper Hoeve. And we will also learn about the Dommel and Tongelreep streams and water management in the area. The versatility to discuss a lot of nature and nature management topics together makes the Genneper Park a very interesting hiking area and a beautiful piece of urban nature.
