The Peek-a-Boo Pets Workshop: Animals That Roll, Wiggle, and Wink!
Have you ever made a piece of art that looks back at you? Join us for an activity full of paper-folding magic where we bring 'flat' animals to life! We’ll be using cardstock/ paper to create adorable animal friends with eyes that actually move and roll.
 
What’s the Secret?
In this session, Bassant will guide the children through a 'user-friendly' approach to paper crafting. It’s going to be 100% fun!
 
In this workshop, your child will:

• Pick a Persona: Will it be a curious cat, a googly-eyed frog, or a sleepy panda?
• The 'Mechanical' Eye: Learn the secret behind the paper levers and sliding tabs that make eyes roll and wiggle.
• Precision Cutting & Folding: Practice fine motor skills using high-quality cardstock to build the animal body.
• Design for Delight: Add ears, tails, and tiny accessories to give their new friend a unique personality.

Every child will go home with their own self-crafted 'moving-eye' animal friend. It’s more than just a craft; it’s a handmade interactive toy that’s ready to play the moment they leave the workshop!

About the workshop leader:
Say hello to our instructor, Bassant! A global soul and a former Software Engineer and UX Designer who traded her keyboard for craft supplies! After traveling and during her journey raising her wonderful children, Bassant realized that true balance comes from the heart. She decided to let her lifelong love for creativity shine, turning her designer’s eye into a way to spark joy in others. As a busy mom of three, she knows exactly how much magic a little creativity can bring to a hectic day. She’s passionate about helping kids unleash their own inner artists, and she leads every fold and every project with a huge smile and a whole lot of love...
