Come and join our first Green Cafe plant based cooking workshop. Do you want to make a step towards cooking more with vegetables and want to learn more practical plant based recipes?

During this workshop you will learn to use local and seasonal ingredients, but also exotic ones, to create delicious dishes. You don't have to be an expert on the kitchen, all levels are welcome! You will prepare a dish together with other participants and have the support of our hosts.

When cooking is done, everyone will explain to the rest how they prepared the chosen dish, so everybody can also learn from the others how to prepare other dishes. Then we will all join and enjoy a delicious dinner that we have all prepared together.

The workshop will be done in a Buurthuis, where many social oriented projects for the local community are held. All participants and hosts will help clean up afterwards.

About the facilitators
This workshop will be led by four Green Cafe team members with several years of experience with plant based cooking. During the workshop you will hear their motivation and learn from their experience.

Practicalities
• The workshop will start at 15:00, but doors will be open at 14:45. Please be on time.
• This workshop is aimed at people who already have (some) basic cooking skills, but also people who are already experienced cooks, let’s learn things from each other too and connect with other people who enjoy cooking plant based!

• If you have an apron, please bring one with you.
• The entry fee will cover paying for the ingredients, drinks and the use of the place.
• There probably will be leftovers, so feel free to bring some containers with you to take extra food home. We don’t want to waste food.

Green Café
The Green Café is a collaboration between Trefpunt Groen Eindhoven, People for Planet, Eindje Groen, Art + Tech Society, with individual contributors; Erdem Cerit, Hariprasad Parthasarathy and Zubin Nayak. It organizes various activities for the international community of Eindhoven. For example, lectures, workshops, city tours and film sessions on the themes of nature, environment, and sustainability. 'Green Cafe’ is supported by the Eindhoven Library and the Holland Expat Center South.
