Stadsgasten: Echte Verhalen - I want to tell my story!

Stadsgasten is a storytelling stage where true, remarkable, and moving stories come to life. During this evening, people share their personal stories in front of a live audience. The first edition in December was a great success, with a more than sold-out venue.

Before stepping onto the stage, you’ll take part in an inspiring workshop day. With guidance from experienced coaches from Ploeg-E – including the City Writer and former City Poet – you’ll be well-prepared for your first performance.

Once again, after a full day of workshops, Stadsgasten will take place in the evening at Hostel Blue Collar in Eindhoven. This is your chance to share your story!

Do you have a story you’d love to share? Or would you like to learn how to tell a story in an engaging way? You’re more than welcome!

During the workshop, the editorial team of Stadsgasten will guide you. Through exercises and workshops, you’ll learn how to convey your story powerfully and authentically.

From experience, we know that sharing a personal story can help give meaning to important life events. Standing on stage not only boosts your confidence, but also brings a sense of recognition.

Most storytellers are not professionals. Often, it’s their first time speaking in front of an audience. And that’s perfectly okay! What matters is that the story and the storyteller are real. The audience is warm and engaged. In addition, the stories are recorded and turned into podcasts.

12:45 - 13:45 – Lunch break
13:45 - 17:00 – Part 2 of the program

Travel to Blue Collar and dinner

From 19:15 – Stadsgasten at Blue Collar Hotel

There’s an option to have dinner together at Blue Collar (at your own expense). The workshop itself includes lunch, coffee, and tea.
