Green Cafe warmly invites you to our next event: a game played in nature to encourage us to observe and understand the intricate connections that nature offers us and see ourselves as a part of it. The game is played outdoors in nature and is an interactive, detective-like workshop where participants explore the local ecosystem by finding traces/evidence, taking pictures of it and working with the facilitator (chief inspector) to connect this evidence on the map to reveal ecological relationships. During this interesting Escape Room-like adventure in nature, we will be guided by a game facilitator, and an experienced IVN guide who can explain a lot about the nature we are in and the species we are seeing. We will play this game at the Klokputten lakes, which is very rich in biodiversity, and a lesser known nature area in Eindhoven.
The event is based on a game developed by Luna Snelder, who will be your facilitator. The game is called 'EcoSystem Investigation' (ESI) and was created from a collaboration with IVN Veldhoven-Eindhoven-Vessem, Nieuw Zwanenburg, Phood Farm and Brabants Landschap.
