Is your little one growing up with more than one language? Are you wondering what’s “normal”, whether you are doing enough, what to expect when they start school in a new language or how you can best support them? Then this workshop is for you!
We’ll talk about what bi-/multilingualism really looks like in early childhood - how multiple languages work together in the brain and how you can support your child’s journey without guilt, overwhelming or second-guessing. Together, we’ll bust some of the most common myths that still cause parents to doubt their choices.
You’ll walk away with:
✅ A clearer understanding of why your home language matters - at every stage
✅ Practical, realistic strategies to support your child’s languages
✅ What to expect when your child starts school in a new language and how to prepare gently
✅ Confidence and clarity to be your child’s language cheerleader - now and in the years ahead.
Whether you’re already juggling multiple languages or are just embarking on this journey, this session is a space for honest conversation, practical guidance and supportive connection.
You are not alone on this journey and there is no one “right” way to raise a bi-/multilingual child. But there is a way that’s right for your family!

She specialises in building personalised Family Language Plans that help families set realistic goals, create nurturing language-rich environments and embrace their full cultural and linguistic identities with confidence.
Maria's mission is simple: to take the guesswork and overwhelm out of raising bi-/multilingual children - and to ensure every child’s voice is heard, honoured and celebrated in every language they speak.
