A poetry-music performance, titled ‘FRIENDSHIP’ by the Burning Blood Group: Carola Eijsenring (poetry), accompanied by Erik Deckert (didgeridoo), OwlInTheCity (hang pan) and Ali Becan (cello). The poems are about the magic of friendship, how it occurs, develops, feeds, shapes, or sometimes breaks, but always enriches one’s life with highs and lows. It will be performed in English.
About the performers
Carola Eijsenring (Indo) has been writing poems for more than 25 years. In 2004 she started performing in public at ‘Dunya Poetry International’ and received an award for that. She feels blessed to be able to share her poems with musicians and other artists for any audience. So, in 2014 she founded the Burning Blood Group with various musicians, dancers, other artists and designers from all over the world, who have brought their hearts & souls to this fluid group, for larger shows such as: ‘Burning Blood’ (2019) , ‘Life Lines’ (2019), ‘Essential Calling‘ (2020), ‘Resilience’ (2022), ‘A Stroll’ (2022) and various other smaller gigs.
