Ever heard of D&D, curious but have no idea how to start? Then come to this special evening for beginners! In small groups, spread throughout the library, we'll start designing your character and their corresponding traits. The rules will be explained, and as you play, you'll discover together how the game works.

Tonight, we'll play a one-shot adventure, so by the end of the evening, you'll have completed one story and hopefully made new friends to form your own party! Dungeons and Dragons, abbreviated as D&D, is a Roleplaying Game. But don't worry, you don't need armor or face paint (but you can if you like). D&D is played in a fantasy world where you and your fellow players will embark on adventures together. The Game Master knows what, where, and when things can happen. D&D is fundamentally a social game, centered around friendship and imagination. It's about fantasizing, exploring, fighting, having fun, and thinking outside the box together.
