Choosing a contraceptive method is deeply personal — and too often, the responsibility falls unequally on those who menstruate. In this session, we’ll talk about the range of available contraceptive options, their pros and cons, and how they interact with our bodies, hormones, and overall well-being.

This is a space to share experiences and support one another in making informed, empowered choices based on our unique needs and life phases.

This is a series consisting of 4 workshops. You must register separately for each workshop, but you do not have to attend all 4. Below you can see the upcoming workshops.

Since we are not medical experts or certified professionals in this field, but passionate advocates for menstrual cycle awareness and empowerment, our aim is not to provide definitive answers or expert guidance, but rather to foster open dialogue, mutual support, and collective learning.
These sessions are for people who menstruate, a space where menstrual cycle awareness thrives and where each individual feels seen, heard, and supported in their journey, regardless of gender identity.
 
About The Wave: Wave is an offline and online platform that was born in May 2019, in Eindhoven city. With an international group feminists, we created the first independent feminist movement in our region. We construct a change in our society, creating a safe space for debates, street and online activism, workshops and cultural activities.
