In this talk, we will discuss how to raise children in a multicultural setting to support their development and success. You will learn how Dutch parents raise their children, what is expected from children in the school context and the Dos' and Don'ts of parenting as an expat.

Elif Durgel is a psychologist who specializes in parenting and child development especially in multicultural contexts. Her work focuses on expat parents' child rearing expectations, practices and how these influence their children's development. She is running Roots and Wings Parent Academy.
